To create a peaceful state of mind it is important to first understand that the way we think effects and creates our experiences. The way we feel shows us if our thoughts are in alignment with either Uplifting thoughts or Weighed Down thoughts.
If we hold in our minds Thoughts like
Acceptance, Equality, Kindness, Compassion, Appreciation, Loving Kindness, Gratitude, Generosity, Forgiveness, Friendliness, Tolerance, Patience, Consideration, Joy, Empathy, Honesty, Kinship, Caring, Courage, Truthfulness, Nurturement, Rejoicing, Abundance, Respecting Individual Uniqueness, Equanimity, Foresight, Understanding, Passion, Inspiration, Discernment, Authenticness, Willingness, Open Attitude, Open to Change, Self Respect, Sharing, Giving, Peace, Calmness, Mindfulness, Gratitude, Inclusiveness.
Then we experience the feelings of these thoughts, these thoughts produce the experience of Expansion, Upliftment, Gain in Energy, Unity, Contentment, Connectedness and Happiness.
If we hold in our minds Thoughts like
Judgment, Anger, Resentment, Blaming others for our experiences, Self Righteousness, Hatred, Jealousy, Arrogance, Judging Others, ill Will, Status placing people Higher or lower, Bitterness, Lying, Contradicting, Pretending, Competition, Comparing, Guilt, Fakeness, Unwillness, Dismissing, Gossiping, Spite, Greed, Harshness, Manipulation, Perfection, Resistance to Change, Justifying, Fault Finding, Worrying, Deceit, Avoidance, Fear, Self Loathing & Self Beat Up, Expectations, Denial, Blaming, Avoiding Self Responsibility.
Then we experience the feelings of these thoughts, these thoughts produce the experience of Contraction, Heaviness, Loss of Energy, Weighed Down feeling, Stress, Separation and Unhappiness.
When we come to understand this fundamental principle that our thoughts create what we experience and how we feel, then we will have the opportunity to direct our thoughts consciously in the ways that we choose and will experience and feel the results of our choices.
It makes sense that if we want to experience or feel a certain way or that we do not want to experience or feel a certain way, then it is wise to look at our thoughts, as they are the culprits to what we are experiencing and what we feel.
No One or No Thing can make your thoughts for You, Only You Can Do That!
Creating and directing our thoughts is a basic understanding to begin to live consciously, being awake. If we understand that our thoughts are clearly our own choice, only then can we begin to change or transform them. If we want to have a peaceful state of mind, then it is important to begin to apply effort to direct our thoughts in making responsible choices for our own happiness.
When we choose uplifting thoughts and uplifting ways of thinking combined with gratitude and truthfulness one is able to experience a more peaceful state of consciousness. This peaceful state of consciousness is neutral, non dualistic, it is being in touch and in alignment with our inner song, the very heartbeat of our essence or nature.
Our essence or nature is that of a neutral peaceful state which we can rely on to prompt, inform and guide us to a wise peaceful way of living and being, learning to be contented with what is. Whenever we operate from our true intelligent essence or nature we feel peaceful, a subtle intuitive state of sensing & knowing, a non dualistic awareness, which is naturally equipped to guide us to that which is beyond thought.
Creating a peaceful mind begins by directing our thoughts to uplifting states, then listening to the wise inner prompting and guidance and following it, it is the subtle language of our essence or nature.
It is always a choice what we choose to think and hold in our thoughts and the results of our choices will show up in how we feel and what we experience.
Ask yourself these Questions?
1. What do I choose to think- Uplifting or Weighed Down Thoughts?
2. How do I feel from the choices I have made?
3. Do I have gratitude and truthfulness in my life?
4. Do I listen to the wise inner prompting and Do I follow it?
These questions begin the process of Self Inquiry, Self Understanding, Self Responsibility and Self Awareness, which can ultimately lead us to the heart of the matter our true essence, a non dualistic peaceful state that is contented to just be with what IS as it IS.
Truth is Empty of all illusions
