Kerrie’s love and passion for yoga began 19 years ago training with many different schools of yoga and that of Meditation. Kerrie completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Vivekananda Yoga Education & Research Therapy Institute Melb-India Inc, where she received the Yogic name Shanti Ma -Peace Mother. Kerrie is a passionate and dedicated Yoga & Meditation Teacher and Therapist empowering and inspiring others to embrace the insightful and peaceful path of Yoga practice.

Kerrie’s background as a complimentary alternative health practitioner has provided clients with a deep and rich personal experience in her private practice In Harmony for Health, where she has demonstrated a compassionate approach in encouraging others how to flow with life and how to find peace and contentment in being themselves.

Kerrie’s Motto “It is through self awareness that we find the wisdom to Peace”. Kerrie has blended and integrate many complimentary modalities to provide a deeply transformative space for others. Kerrie is a Dharma practitioner learning to create peace and contentment in each moment.

Steve’s background and training in meditation is very lengthy and his work with the elderly and frail, palliative care, special needs children, A.B.I and with loss & grief. Steve understands that one must hold an open compassionate attitude when caring for others, who cannot care for themselves.

Steve’s passion, dedication and commitment to the Buddha Dharma and meditation practice has profoundly changed his view and way of  life. Steve’s introduction to Meditation in 1993 inspired him to study and practice meditation in many forms from many Buddhist traditions, allowing him to gain a deep and rich understanding of meditation practice and the nature of inner contentment. As a Meditation teacher Steve openly shares his knowledge and experiences skillfully with others. In 2001 he completed training in Tibetan yoga practices and Mindfulness movements working with opening the winds of the body & mind. In 2002 he began conducting Corporate Meditation Training, Dharma Study Groups and created the Introduction to Meditation Course to give people a clear and rich foundation in Meditation Practice.

Trainee Teacher: Trevor Wheeler -Surya Da

Trevor has practiced and trained in yoga at Dharmaheart Yoga & Meditation Centre for the past 6 years and is a senior yoga student, his dedication and commitment to yoga practice has enabled him to embark on a deep personal journey of personal development, with his quick up take and understanding of yoga practice, he is learning the true meaning of Yoga -Metta, Presence and Union. Trevor is currently a Trainee.

International Teachers: Professor J Rangaswami & Swami Raju

Raju is a senior Yoga Teacher from India and is an adviser for Dharmaheart Yoga Centre, he specializes in Yoga Therapy working with physical rehabilitation, Disabilities, Terminal illness providing personal yoga training programs and Yoga Therapy. Raju has traveled to many parts of the world Teaching Yoga and specialized Yoga Training Programs and Yoga Therapy.

PhD-Prof and Head School of Philosophy, Tamil University, India.Prof Rangaswami spent a week at Dharmaheart Centre teaching on the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita. He is the Author of 7 books. Rangaswami presented two of his book to Shantima as a gift for his enjoyable stay at the Dharmaheart Centre. Prof Rangaswami is the translator and advisor of the Yoga Sutra’s, Sankhya System and Philosophy to Dharmaheart Yoga & Meditation Centre.
